Worship

Part of the vision God has given us at True Life is to be a place where people genuinely interact with God in dynamic corporate worship, and as a result, experience tangible life change. We believe that worship is not just ritual but a real encounter with the living God, who is worthy of our worship. Of course, worship is a lifestyle and not just something we do at church. Romans 12:1says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable act of worship.” We worship God daily by our sacrifice, surrender, and obedience. True worship is giving God the glory due to His Name (Psalm 29:2). When we come to a church service, it is a wonderful opportunity for us to do that together through singing, praise, thanksgiving, prayer, communion, and obedient response to the preaching of God’s Word.

An important part of a worship service is singing. Scripture repeatedly tells us to “sing praise to the Lord.” People are often curious about musical styles. Our musical style is primarily modern worship music led by a full band. Brett Gilbertson is our worship leader. You can e-mail using our Contact Us form for more information about this ministry.
